Level Density in Complex Scaling Method

چکیده
It is shown that the continuum level density (CLD) at unbound energies can be calculated in the complex scaling method (CSM) where energy spectra of bound states, resonances and continuum states are obtained within L basis functions. In this method, the extended completeness relation is applied to calculation of Green’s functions, and the continuum-state part is approximately expressed by discretized complex scaled continuum solutions. The obtained result is compared with the CLD calculated exactly from the scattering phase shift. The discretization in the CSM is shown to give a very good description of continuum states. We discuss that the scattering phase shifts can be calculated inversely from of the CLD which is well described applying a basis function technique in the CSM.

According to numerous studies, there are basic and initial scaling relationship for the geometric and kinematic characteristics of faults. The study area is located in the northern part of the Kerman coal province. The statistical calculations are consisting of: measure the surface density of faults per unite area and division of the area, determining the direction of the dominant faulting and...
متن کاملScaling and Fractal Concepts in Saturated Hydraulic Conductivity: Comparison of Some Models
Measurement of soil saturated hydraulic conductivity, Ks, is normally affected by flow patterns such as macro pore; however, most current techniques do not differentiate flow types, causing major problems in describing water and chemical flows within the soil matrix. This study compares eight models for scaling Ks and predicted matrix and macro pore Ks, using a database composed of 50 datasets...

متن کاملThe finite density scaling laws of condensation transition in the stationary and dynamical zero range processes on scale-free networks
The dynamics of zero-range processes on complex networks is expected to be influenced by the underlying topological structure of networks. A real space complete condensation transition in the stationary state may occur. We have studied the finite density effects of the condensation transition in both the static and dynamical zero-range process on scale-free network. By means of grand canonical ...
